Online word processing software....
Today's class we worked in groups to explore online word processing software. My group chose to do BUZZWORD.com. I REALLY don't recommend to use the site. It was too complicated to use. It just took to much time just entering the site or even signing up. Although it had many features to do, like editing pictures and file, it also had some links for communication. I rated the site 2, since I didn't even get the change to even open up the site due to the sites loading.
Overall from all the groups we rated "googledocs" the best for it was easy and simple to work on and also had many templates to work especially for us teachers in training. It had all sort of presentation templates and it works both way for teacher and students use..:)

"mnemograph.com"
If I were to rate mnemograph.com, I'd give it an 8. It was pretty easy to work with and Pretty easy to understand. At first I had to press all the links to see what it does or were it takes me. After I found what to do, I got the hang of it and finished my timeline on before my friends. As a future teacher, I'd probably use this site for special projects with science and social studies. They can even have a timeline of themselves from birth to present that shows their growth and changes they when through. I think its a great software to use, simple and easy.....

MY BLOG <3
Having to work with blog for the first time reminds me of "myspace" and "cnmispace". Its really to easy and simplet to use. Just like myspace you can change templates, pictures and also add blings to your blog. As a future teacher, I would probably use blog for my 6th grade students. Activities that we can work on are communication outside school and also to keep daily journals instead writing journals. This way the students have more time reading each others journals online rather than reading one by one in class. Great way of communication. FUN=)

Web Flow chart
Last week, three classmates and myself had to work on a flow chart that we had to come up our own school flow chart which we had to include tech. people. We worked with gliffy. Gliffy is very easy to follow although it takes time to complete a good flow chart. It also has many features and colors, shapes and fonts.I would rate gliffy as 6 being easy and simple to work with. I would recommend using gliffy to middle school students to do projects like maps and timelines.

Intro..
Hi everyone,
My name is Eloise C. Leon Guerrero. I am currently a full time teacher aide and a full time student here at NMC. I am enrolled in this class ED480-Educational Tech. with the best instructor Mr. John Jenkings. I hope to gain more knowledge and skills to develop instructional materials with technology that I can integrate with my lessons. So far I have learned a lot with doing my blog and learning what technology (computers) have to offer. (ex.Mind-mapping activity, computer skills and MI results). This semester I hope to gain more computer skills and developing fun activities. Computer skills and communication tool that might be helpful in my teaching career.
