Jumpcut.com
Today I had a presentation on Jumpcut for PictureTrail.com. I had a short commercial convincing online users to use Picturetrail.com for a easy, reliable and fast way of sharing photo albums to people near and far. The site has so many customs features to bling up your photos. Very user friendly site and fun as well. Try it yourself....
HERE IS MY LINK TO Jumpcut.

http://www.slideshare.net/wisa/using-technology-as-remedial-resource-to-improve-student-learning-presentation
The past weeks have been very exciting and educational using technology through elluminate live. For those who have presented did an exceptional research and linking pictures with web sites. Although I had many difficulties myself with the final touch up of my presentation. Time was nerve breaking most especially during your presentation some of my classmates had a problem viewing my slides and plus the presenting when you have no idea if everyone is on same page and you are.
If I could present again, I would take more time to show more of my slides and really have the class involve in the links that I have. I really enjoyed our long distance class...some of which my classmates are just a couple buildings away from each other, yet for me at the comfort of my job. The challenges that almost all my classmate encountered was having difficulty not getting into class or headphones not working properly. Overall, this lesson activity was challenging yet at the same time motivated me to integrate technology into my future classroom. Everyone did an awesome job(=

Picture Story...
Overall the presentation today with the groups were all great. I do have to agree that all three software (picturetrail, slide.com, rockyou.com) are too familiar to me. I have used them for myspace account. They are so much fun to work with but I have to say that slide.com was more interesting for that music background could be added with pictures. All three software are very useful for students when it comes to collecting data and pictures of things that are happening with them daily. Very simple to do...

WEBQUEST PROJECT
My group webquest is titled "Managing the Sweetnes Within". At first I had no idea has to how to create a webquest. It took time and I had to see other finished webquest to get an idea. Overall working with my group members was sort of collaboration, were we just had one password to the site and we could make changes and editing process before we published our webquest.FUN and something new to me..

Scavenger Hunt
Today's activity was really different from what we have been doing in class. Today's activity was a scavenger hunt taking pictureof items on campus. Some items were easy to locate and some were hard that we had to go around the campus to fine, most especaially taking a picture of a cat or dog. Well before me and partner headed back to class we found a cat nearby. lol... I really enjoyed that activity because it was something different most especially the picture taking and running around locating the items. But overall, it was a fun activity.

Online word processing software....
Today's class we worked in groups to explore online word processing software. My group chose to do BUZZWORD.com. I REALLY don't recommend to use the site. It was too complicated to use. It just took to much time just entering the site or even signing up. Although it had many features to do, like editing pictures and file, it also had some links for communication. I rated the site 2, since I didn't even get the change to even open up the site due to the sites loading.
Overall from all the groups we rated "googledocs" the best for it was easy and simple to work on and also had many templates to work especially for us teachers in training. It had all sort of presentation templates and it works both way for teacher and students use..:)

"mnemograph.com"
If I were to rate mnemograph.com, I'd give it an 8. It was pretty easy to work with and Pretty easy to understand. At first I had to press all the links to see what it does or were it takes me. After I found what to do, I got the hang of it and finished my timeline on before my friends. As a future teacher, I'd probably use this site for special projects with science and social studies. They can even have a timeline of themselves from birth to present that shows their growth and changes they when through. I think its a great software to use, simple and easy.....

MY BLOG <3
Having to work with blog for the first time reminds me of "myspace" and "cnmispace". Its really to easy and simplet to use. Just like myspace you can change templates, pictures and also add blings to your blog. As a future teacher, I would probably use blog for my 6th grade students. Activities that we can work on are communication outside school and also to keep daily journals instead writing journals. This way the students have more time reading each others journals online rather than reading one by one in class. Great way of communication. FUN=)

Web Flow chart
Last week, three classmates and myself had to work on a flow chart that we had to come up our own school flow chart which we had to include tech. people. We worked with gliffy. Gliffy is very easy to follow although it takes time to complete a good flow chart. It also has many features and colors, shapes and fonts.I would rate gliffy as 6 being easy and simple to work with. I would recommend using gliffy to middle school students to do projects like maps and timelines.

Intro..
Hi everyone,
My name is Eloise C. Leon Guerrero. I am currently a full time teacher aide and a full time student here at NMC. I am enrolled in this class ED480-Educational Tech. with the best instructor Mr. John Jenkings. I hope to gain more knowledge and skills to develop instructional materials with technology that I can integrate with my lessons. So far I have learned a lot with doing my blog and learning what technology (computers) have to offer. (ex.Mind-mapping activity, computer skills and MI results). This semester I hope to gain more computer skills and developing fun activities. Computer skills and communication tool that might be helpful in my teaching career.
